Horse-drawn carriage in the French Quarter

We specialize in small groups, large groups, and everything in between. Tour New Orleans in your own van or bus or we will arrange a luxury vehicle for you.  What is your group interested in?  Some recent custom tours have included music, food, and more!

Music Tours

Perfect for high school bands, glee clubs, church choirs, and Jazz aficionados, the Music Tours are led by New Orleans musicians and visit Congo Square, La Petit Jazz Museum, and three or more well-known venues that showcase the birthplace of Jazz. A recent Jazz Fest Tour included a four-day itinerary for 10 men with meals and tickets to all the events.

Streetcar Tours

We reserve an entire historic streetcar especially for you. Your personal trolley glides on rails up Canal Street and St Charles Avenue just as it has done since 1831.  Several tour guides ride along, dividing the large group into smaller groups so everyone gets a guide’s personal attention.  You’ll see the Garden District, Audubon Park, the Universities, and the intricate architecture of the Wedding Cake House.  Want to squeeze a walking tour in there?  This is your custom tour – you can do that too!

Religious Tours

New Orleans is full of Catholic churches, cemeteries, and Old World customs.  See them all or come during Lent to take a tour of St Joseph altars, eat fig cookies, and take home a lucky bean.  Jewish synagogues and cemeteries are favorite tours too. Did you know that Louis Armstrong was raised by a Jewish family and wore a Star of David necklace all his life?  It’s true!

Afro-Centric Tours

Led by African-American tour guides, you’ll come to understand that New Orleans was largely built by people of color, including the detailed iron work fence around Jackson Square and the plaster work inside St. Louis Cathedral. Visit the Plessy vs Ferguson Monument to learn the impact that the ‘separate but equal’ decision had on American society. Tour Bywater, Tremé, and the Musicians Village – a community envisioned by Ellis Marsalis to preserve the lives and livelihoods of predominately Black musicians after Hurricane Katrina. The African-American influence on the City of New Orleans cannot be underestimated.

Swamp Tours

The swamps and bayous are a little distance away from downtown New Orleans. Ride in air-conditioned comfort to Bayou Segnette or Manchac Swamp and board an airboat. You’ll see water birds, turtles, amphibians, maybe nutrias, and everybody’s favorite…alligators!

Plantation Tours

Visit the grand plantation homes, including world-famous Oak Alley, see authentic furnishings from the 1850s, and be humbled by the small cabins of the enslaved. It’s an eye-opening experience.

Family Reunions and Group Events

How many people are you related to?  Bring the whole family, your corporate staff, church group, students, volunteers, or all your friends to New Orleans and call Candy Kagan.  One recent group included 200 people on several busses, many tour guides, a BBQ at the Lakefront, and wrapped up with costumed Black Mardi Gras Indians!
